Pig Bladder Helps Regrow Trauma Victims Lost Muscle Play

April 30 (Bloomberg) -- Trauma victims test their arms and legs to see if their abilities have improved after a scaffold crafted from pig bladder was implanted into their severely injured muscles. The patients were tested by researchers from the University of Pittsburgh as part new technique to see if the implantation spurred stem cells to make muscle and improve limb function, a method that may change the standard of care.
