SEC Plans Higher Limit for Smaller Stock Offerings Play

Dec. 18 (Bloomberg) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission meets to consider a proposal to boost by 10 times the amount of money companies can raise under a simplified public offering. The SEC voted to release the measure for public comment as part of efforts to ease fundraising by smaller firms.
