Treasury Secretary Lew in the Limelight Play

July 19 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew offers his thoughts on the competing proposals to wind down Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. “In the Senate you have a bipartisan effort which we’ve been engaged in,” Lew says referring to a bill unveiled by Tennessee Republican Bob Corker and Virginia Democrat Mark Warner "I think that if you contrast what the conversation in the Senate is to the conversation in the House, it's kind of interesting that one is a bipartisan conversation and the other is not. This is going to require a bipartisan solution." (Source: Bloomberg)
