India Power Grid Failures Won't Impact FDI
Aug. 2 (Bloomberg) -- S. L. Rao, former chairman of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission, talks about the failures on India’s national grid, and its political and economic implications.
A series of failures and demand in excess of supply knocked out power for 640 million people in northern and central parts of the country on July 31, a day after a separate blackout left 360 million in seven states without lights. Rao speaks with Susan Li on Bloomberg Television's "Asia Edge." (Source: Bloomberg)
