BlackBerry Storm To Beat Bold to U.S. Market?

If present trends continue, it looks like the touchscreen BlackBerry Storm might hit the U.S. market ahead of the more traditional but very good Bold.
The Bold is available in many markets around the world, including Canada. AT&T will be its U.S. carrier, but the company has not announced availability and the latest rumors suggest it may not hit the stores before November.
Meanwhile, all the signs point to Verizon introducing the breakthrough Storm sooner rather than later. An announcement looks likely within a couple of weeks at it might ship before the end of October. A second version, known as Thunder, is coming for the GSM/UMTS networks in the rest of the world, but I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for it on AT&T.
The reasons for AT&T’s delay of the Bold remain obscure. Research In Motion will only say that the timing is up to AT&T. And AT&T isn’t saying anything.
