Jeff Jarvis writes about his visit with Michael Dell in the latest BusinessWeek. Customer service at Dell, if you recall, made Jarvis’s life hell two years ago, and his blogging about it more than returned he favor. He returns to find that Dell is following a lot of his advice.
In his blog post about the article, Jeff mentions things that were edited out. References to Cluetrain, for example. Jay Rosen in comments says he wants more detail. So Jeff, how about blogging the draft?
Yes, boss. Here's my 1,600 submission. I had to trim it to about 1,100 words. Some trims always help. Some hurt. This isn't the five-page story Jay Rosen wanted; there's more depth to be had in my notebook.
