Anil fears that this brush with outrage and hurt feelings might lead CEO Bill Watkins to bottle up his spontaneity and sense of humor. My experience is that people express themselves, get into trouble, and vow to be careful. But they soon forget and feel an irrepressible urge to express themselves anew. This keeps the news interesting.
I guess that’s one thing to be thankful for in our corner of the press as we close a difficult year: Much of humanity’s undying desire to be admired, recognized, seen and quoted.
