I’ve more or less decided that my next desktop Mac is going to be an iMac. But here’s my problem. I really really want it to be white like the current models. But I also want it to have the very latest and greatest in terms of processor, graphics card and so on. So I’ve been a little troubled by the persistent rumors that the next model will sport a brushed metal exterior similar in some respects to that on the MacBook Pro and the Mac Pro. So today Engadget sprung a few photos purporting to be the keyboard for the next iMac due in the next month or so, which would suggest that the the brushed metal theme is actually happening. Is this the new iMac keyboard? Perhaps. Perhaps not. I guess we’ll know by Labor Day.
I think that is is a PhotoShop project.
Look at what I consider is photo #6 of their gallery, the one with the close up of the Apple logo. We are seeing part of the back wall of the keyboard where the cable should enter the keyboard. The cable does not look like it is entering the keyboard..
Now look at photo #4 which shows the cable entering the back wall of the keyboard, above the seam. A seam that his not visible on photo #6
The USB cable looks like a photo of a real Apple cable, the keyboard itself looks like it was drawn in Illustrator, or maybe PhotoShop
Well, judging by the lack of an "Apple" key, I'd say this probably isn't it. Could be wrong though, anyway it goes, we'll know fairly soon.
Rumor is announcement will 8/8 - a good lucky day for the Chinese market.
I like how the command key is clearly labelled.
I am guessing, not only your next desktop but also your next tv will be Apple TV - a real tv replacing the your HDTV.
This TV will play movies from any Apple Device. With one more product Apple may now swoop on businesses of TV, Cable and DVD Rental Compaines. The only question is when?
