Where Are The Santa Rosa MacBooks?

Posted by: Arik Hesseldahl on May 09

Gizmodo wonders aloud, as should we all, whether Apple is close to pulling the trigger on MacBooks and MacBook Pros based on Intel’s Santa Rosa platform, now officially christened Centrino Duo and Centrino Pro. Among the many things included in Santa Rosa is 802.11n support, better battery life and so on. I haven’t spent anytime with any such notebooks, but PC World has a quick rundown them and a few impressions here.

MacRumors notes that as of today its been 197 days since an update to the MacBook Pro line and 182 days since the MacBook was updated. (By the way, cool feature, MacRumors.)
