More On the iTunes Security Vulnerability

I just got a call from source familiar with the investigation into the iTunes security vulnerability I mentioned on Friday. You may remember there was some confusion as to whether or not the vulnerabilty affected iTunes running on the Mac OS.

Well my source there has cleared it up: After further examination, the Mac OS version of iTunes is affected. He didn’t have any details, and said the matter remains under investigation. But as of right now, it appears this vulnerability affects iTunes on both Windows and the Mac OS. More details should be forthcoming by the end of the business day, Tuesday. Stay tuned.
