Innovation In The Theatre.

Bruce Nussbaum

In case you missed this video, take a close look. Fewer and fewer people under 30 are going to dance and theatre in general. Innovation editor Jessi Hempel (who wrote the two big pieces in the upcoming issue of IN) interviewed Chris Elam who is working at NYU on a project to bring young people back into the dance conversation. The dance in the video is quite brilliant.

There may be a bit of another video about snakes in the elevator (depends on the ad that runs before the interview) that somehow begins this thing, so bare with me.

Give us some tips and artistic direction. This is our first foray into video interviewing and I love it. So help out with more thoughts and ideas. Thanks.

And go see Misnomer, Chris Elam's dance troupe, on March 8 at NYU's Skirball Theater.
