Podbridge And Measuring Forbes.com Podcasts
The startup Podbridge announced a good win for them: handling Forbes.com's podcasts. Podbridge will be providing stats including how many times they're downloaded and whether they're actually listened to. And they will dynamically insert targeted ads into Forbes.com’s video podcasts. That means that they can change out time-sensitive ads in podcasts that have already been downloaded.
These kinds of technologies are definitely needed if podcasting to ever going to prove that it can be a money maker overtime.

I did an analysis in this space a while ago.
Advertisers definitely need companies like Podbridge who can display relevant time-shifted ads even when the customer is disconnected from the net.
Competitors like Fruitcast and Kiptronic will be left in the dust if they keep doing simple server side stitching of Ads.
