Madden NFL 07

By on September 04, 2006

The GameCube hasn't exactly been the ideal system to put a football game on. The system's lacking in online features, its technology isn't nearly as staggering as other consoles, and the only real sporting competition comes from Nintendo themselves, with Mario-themed sports games. But Madden NFL 07 offers a great final game of football for the system, thanks to a sharper focus on running game features (as compared to last year's QB Vision passing debacle), a mostly excellent presentation, and a Hall of Fame mode that runs right alongside Superstar Mode as a quality feature. This may be the weakest console edition of the game on the market, but it's still recommended for those who still have it hooked up and ready to go.
