Greenspan: What, Me Worry?

For days, the financial markets had been gearing up to hear the worst on June 15: a higher-than-expected reading on the

consumer price index (CPI) for May -- and hawkish Senate testimony from Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan. When both events turned out to be less onerous than expected, investors heaved a huge sigh of relief.
