Improving Your Blog

Posted by: Rod Kurtz on May 24, 2007

These days blogging has become an integral part of online business marketing. But many still don’t know how to start and maintain an effective blog. Here are some tips that will make your blog a success:

•Write regularly and make sure your writing skills are up to par. Be sure your posts are engaging and make people want more every time they visit your blog.
•Increase your visibility by promoting your blog on social networks such as MySpace, MyBlogLog, Technorati, and Digg. The more readers you get, the better.
•Comment on other blogs and redirect their readers to your blog. When people comment on your blog, make sure you comment on theirs and answer any question or point a reader brings up.
•Link to other blogs and create awareness of your blog. The more you network, the more results you’ll get from your marketing efforts.

Your tips on starting and maintaining a blog were perfectly timed for me. You must have been reading
my mind.

I'm an organizing consultant and am considering having a blog on my Web site.

Many thanks for your tips.
