Japan ordered its defense forces to intercept and destroy any debris from North Korea’s planned rocket launch this month that may fall in the country’s territory.
Defense Minister Satoshi Morimoto gave the order this morning, Chief Cabinet Secretary Osamu Fujimura told reporters today in Tokyo. No part of the rocket is expected to hit Japan, Fujimura said.
