Saudi Grand Mufti Condemns Protests as Dangerous, Al-Watan Says

The top cleric in Saudi Arabia, home to Islam’s holiest cities, has criticized protests in the Middle East as being un-Islamic, al-Watan newspaper reported.

Demonstrations are a “bad and dangerous thing” that threat unity in the Islamic world, Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah al-Sheikh was cited as saying by al-Watan today.
