Cayman Islands Golf Course Seeking Water Plant, CayCompass Says

A golf club in the Cayman Islands is seeking approval for an on-site reverse osmosis plant to produce fresh water from the Caribbean for its golf course, reported, citing planning authorities.

The North Sound Golf Club project, estimated to cost at least $1.5 million for the plant, tank and fencing, has received planning permission and now must be granted a concession from island authorities, according to CayCompass.
