OAO Novolipetsk Steel, the Russian steelmaker controlled by billionaire Vladimir Lisin, named Oleg Bagrin as the sole candidate to become the company’s president.
The board nominated Bagrin today, the company said in a regulatory statement. The shareholders of NLMK, as the company is known, will vote to elect a president on Oct. 25.
Bagrin has been a member of NLMK’s board since 2004. He was appointed executive vice president last month.
