Russia’s exports of wheat and meslin, a mixture of wheat and rye, reached 7.9 million metric tons in the seven months through July, the Federal Customs Service said.
Wheat and meslin exports were 6.1 million tons in the first six months, and shipments in July were 1.8 million tons, the service said today in an e-mailed statement. The service didn’t provide a comparison with a year earlier.
Imports of wheat and meslin were 9,400 tons in July and reached 55,600 tons in the first seven months, according to the statement. Imports of barley were 429,000 tons in the period and 57,300 tons in July, the service said.
