The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of the close of trade in Lima.
The Lima General Index (IGBVL) rose 0.1 percent to 20,115.50. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index climbed 0.2 percent to 2,703.90.
Trevali Mining Corp. (TV) , a Canadian zinc and silver producer with operations in Peru, rose 3.8 percent to 82 cents. The shares gained as zinc climbed in London, said Daniel Romero, an analyst at Lima-based investment fund NC&F Inversiones SA.
Rio Alto Mining Ltd. (RIO) , a Canadian gold miner, gained for the fourth day in five, adding 2.1 percent to $4.32 as gold advanced in New York.
Luna Gold Corp. (LGC) , a Canadian gold explorer, rose 2.1 percent to $1.96.
Intergroup Financial Services Corp. (IFS) , the owner of Peru’s fourth-largest bank, gained for a third straight session, adding 1 percent to $31.50. Total car loans jumped 20 percent in June from a year earlier and the country’s bad-loans ratio was unchanged, according to the Peruvian Banking Association. Intergroup is due to report earnings July 30.
