Egypt Wife-Swapping Accountant Sentenced to Seven Years in Jail

July 16, 2012

An Egyptian accountant who, along with his spouse, engaged in wife-swapping was sentenced by a Cairo-area criminal court to seven years in prison with hard labor, the state-run Ahram Gate website reported today.

Hossam Kamel’s wife was sentenced to three years with hard labor, the website reported. The two had been charged with prostitution and setting up a wife-swapping website. Authorities said they traded spouses with three other couples.

The Ahram Online website reported on March 26 that they also hosted orgies in their Cairo apartment.
