EON Russia (EONR) Chairman and EON Russia Power chief Sergei Tazin is stepping down from both of the posts as of July 6.
Tazin is leaving of his own volition and will remain an independent board member after being elected at the utility’s annual meeting on June 29, Anna Martynova, an EON Russia spokeswoman, said today by phone.
The board will vote for a new chairman at its next meeting on July 6, she said, declining to name Tazin’s replacement.
Vedomosti newspaper reported the move earlier today, citing unidentified people with knowledge of the plans.
