Grupo Modelo Says It's in Strategic Talks With AB InBev

Grupo Modelo SAB, Mexico’s largest brewer, confirmed it is in strategic talks with Anheuser-Busch InBev NV (ABI) to expand its current relationship.

“These talks might or might not lead to a consummation of a transaction and any speculation on the terms and conditions is premature,” Grupo Modelo said today in a statement to the Mexican stock exchange.
