Vienna Insurance Group (VIG) climbed after Bank of America said shares of eastern Europe’s biggest insurer were “all weather stock.”
The company is among insurer’s whose shares would “comfortably survive our stress tests and where the investment case today is strong,” analysts at the brokerage said in a note to customers today. Bank of America recommends that investors buy shares in the company.
Vienna Insurance rose as much as 2.7 percent in the Austrian capital and were trading up 1.4 percent at 28.89 euros at 12:42 p.m.
