Euro Strengthens Against Dollar, Gains 0.4 Percent to $1.2413

The euro strengthened for the first time in three days against the dollar.

The shared currency gained 0.4 percent to $1.2413 as of 8:29 a.m. in London after dropping to $1.2358, the weakest level since July 2010.
