Hedge fund Moore Capital has bought a stake in the U.K.’s Metro Bank, Sky News’ Mark Kleinman reported on his blog.

Moore Capital bought the stake as part of a 125 million pound ($196 million) fundraising by the bank, Kleinman said.

Existing Metro shareholders, including billionaires David and Simon Reuben, the U.K.’s McAlpine family and LeFrak Organization Inc., a U.S. property company, also participated in the fundraising, he said.
