A deputy chief of Turkey’s governing Justice and Development Party in the southeastern province of Sirnak was killed outside his home, according to state-run Anatolia news agency.
Ali Kilinc, who was responsible for local activities, was gunned down yesterday by an unknown assailant or numerous attackers, Anatolia reported. The party’s Sirnak chief Rizgin Birlik ruled out a political assassination and said Kilinc didn’t have any enemies, according to the news agency.
