May 11, 2012

Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas President Richard Fisher speaks about the performance of the Texas economy, the risk of a sovereign-debt crisis in the U.S. and concerns about financial institutions deemed "too big to fail."

Fisher, when asked about a $2 billion trading loss by JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM:US), said U.S. banks can become so big they lose their focus on risk management. He spoke at the Texas Banker Association's annual convention in Fort Worth, Texas. (Source: Bloomberg)
