Turkish Airlines Gains in Istanbul After 4-Month Passengers Rise

Turk Hava Yollari AO (THYAO), the carrier known as Turkish Airlines, rose in Istanbul after saying passengers increased 19 percent to 11.1 million in the first four months from a year earlier.

Turkish Airlines climbed 1.9 percent to 2.75 liras at the 5:30 p.m. close. Load factor, or the ratio of the number of passengers in a plane to capacity, advanced 5.7 percentage points to 73.9 percent in the first four months, Turkish Airlines said in a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange today.
