Wal-Mart de Mexico SAB (WALMEXV MM), Latin America’s largest retailer, climbed 2.3 percent to 35.12 pesos. Investors are underestimating the potential for the company to expand, UBS AG analysts led by Gustavo Piras Oliveira wrote in a research note e-mailed today.

Grupo Mexico SAB (GMEXICOB) , Mexico’s biggest mining company, rose 0.3 percent to 39.99 pesos. Copper futures advanced as Greek efforts to form a new government and a decline in U.S. jobless claims helped assuage concerns that global growth and commodity demand will falter.
