BMW Considers Assembly Plant in Slovakia, Hospodarske Reports

Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (BMW) is considering options to build a car-assembly plant in Slovakia, Hospodarske Noviny reported, without saying where it got the information.

The German carmaker is choosing between the eastern part of Slovakia and Mexico as the location for the factory, the newspaper said. The plant will produce electric cars and the company is asking the Slovak government for state aid, Hospodarske said.
