German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle wants to strengthen the Foreign Office after it lost responsibilities to the chancellor, Spiegel said, citing a draft from the head of planning, Thomas Bagger.
All the government’s oversees activities should be coordinated by the Foreign Office in the future, Spiegel reported the document, which is scheduled to be presented in August, as saying.
