U.K. stocks erased losses, sending the FTSE 100 Index up 0.1 percent to 5,752.61 at 8:58 a.m. in London. The guage earlier fell as much as 0.7 percent after Standard & Poor’s downgraded Spain’s sovereign credit rating.
