U.K.’s FTSE 100 Index Pares Gains as U.S. Growth Slows

The FTSE 100 Index pared earlier gains after a report showed lower-than-expected U.S. economic growth last quarter. The benchmark for U.K. equities rose 0.2 percent to 5,761.69 at 1:31 p.m. in London, after earlier rising as much as 0.5 percent.
