Carney Says No Threat Seen Tied to Bin Laden Death Anniversary

The U.S. has “no credible information” about any terrorist plots tied to the anniversary of the killing of Osama bin Laden, White House press secretary Jay Carney said.

President Barack Obama met today with his national security team to review threat assessments with the approach of the May 1 anniversary of bin Laden’s killing at the hands of a U.S. special operations team, Carney said today at his regular briefing.
