BofA’s Gugelmann, Sabbadini Said to Leave European Credit Group

April 11, 2012

Christoph Gugelmann, head of market solutions group for Europe at Bank of America Corp. (BAC:US), has quit the bank, according to two people with knowledge of the situation.

Stefano Sabbadini, head of European credit structuring, also resigned from the Charlotte, North Carolina-based bank, said the people, who declined to be identified because the departures are private.

Gugelmann joined Bank of America in London in 2009 from Goldman Sachs Group Inc., where he led fixed-income, currencies, and commodities sales. Market solutions group provides financing plans and strategies for corporate clients.

A Bank of America spokesman in London declined to comment. Gugelmann and Sabbadini didn’t return e-mails seeking comment.
