Kuwait Petroleum International Ltd., a unit of Kuwait Petroleum Corp., sold 432,000 metric tons of naphtha through December from its Milazzo refinery in Italy, according to a company official.
KPI, as the company is known, sold 16 naphtha cargoes of 27,000 tons each for loading from the island of Sicily from this month, the official, who declined to be identified citing company policy, said today in an e-mailed response.
The nine-month contract was awarded last week, the official said, without specifying the buyer or price.
