Softbank Plans 200-Megawatt Solar Plant in Hokkaido, Kyodo Says

Softbank Corp. (9984) plans to build a solar plant in Hokkaido, northern Japan, with a capacity of at least 200 megawatts, Kyodo News reported, citing unidentified people.

Softbank unit SB Energy is in talks to sell power from the plant in Tomakomai city to Hokkaido Electric Power Co., the report said.
