Feb. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Citigroup Inc. sold shares in Indian mortgage lender Housing Development Finance Corp. at 657.5 rupees apiece, said a person with knowledge of the matter who declined to be identified.

The U.S. bank was offering 145.3 million shares at 630 rupees to 703.55 rupees apiece, according to a term sheet obtained by Bloomberg News yesterday.
