Polish Stocks: Budimex, NG2, Sygnity Shares Are Active in Warsaw

Feb. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Poland’s WIG20 Index fell 1.2 percent to 2,323.96 at 12:08 p.m. in Warsaw.
The following are among the most active stocks on the Warsaw Stock Exchange today. Stock symbols follow company names.
Budimex SA (BDX PW) jumped 2.3 percent to 88 zloty, the highest level since July 11, after Poland’s biggest construction company reported 2011 earnings that beat analysts’ estimates.
NG2 SA (CCC PW) dropped 1.8 percent to 54 zloty, falling for the second day, as Erste Group Bank AG downgraded Poland’s biggest publicly traded shoe retailer to “hold” from “buy”.
Sygnity SA (SGN PW) soared as much as 6.5 percent to its seven-month high and traded 4.4 percent stronger at 21.4 zloty. after Asseco Poland SA (ACP PW) bid for the Polish software developer. Asseco, central Europe’s largest software maker, offered to pay 21 zloty per Sygnity share, it said in a statement today. Asseco retreated 2.4 percent to 53 zloty, falling for the second day this week.
