Feb. 17 (Bloomberg) -- PetroEcuador, a state-owned oil company, said it awarded ConocoPhillips a public contract to buy 5.04 million barrels of the country’s Oriente crude.
Vietnam Oil & Gas Group, known as PetroVietnam, also won a bid for a contract to buy 2.52 million barrels of the crude, the Quito-based company said today in an e-mailed statement.
