Fidelity Says ‘Very Difficult’ to Have Optimistic View on China

February 17, 2012

Feb. 16 (Bloomberg) -- It is “very difficult” to have an optimistic view on China as the European debt crisis dims the outlook for the nation’s economy, said Lisa Emsbo-Mattingly, director of research in the global asset allocation division of Fidelity Asset Management.

“We are very concerned about China,” she said at the Bloomberg Link Portfolio manager Mash-up conference in New York. Europe is a “negative drag” on the country, she said.
