Colombia’s Central Bank Says It Would Prefer a Weaker Peso

Feb. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Colombia’s central bank would like to see a weaker peso, Juan Jose Echavarria, a co-director at the monetary authority, told reporters in Bogota.

Interest rate increases have a minimal impact on the exchange rate, he said today.
