Feb. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Luxembourg Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker said it is “not an outlandish idea” to set up a special account to ensure that the Greek government repays its debts.
“As always, the devil is in the details, but to try to ensure that our Greek friends repay debts and do this via a special account is not an outlandish idea,”Juncker, who chairs euro-area finance ministers’ meetings, said in an interview on Germany’s rbb Inforadio public radio.
Euro leaders agree that Greece must implement additional “consolidation measures” to qualify for a second aid program, he said.
