MasterCard Names King to Run U.K., Ireland; Fam to Lead Partners

Feb. 6 (Bloomberg) -- MasterCard Inc., the world’s second- biggest payments network, named Marion King to oversee its U.K. and Irish operations starting March 12.

Hany Fam will lead European market development and strategic partnerships as of March 1, the Purchase, New York- based company said today in an e-mailed statement.

King previously served as chief executive officer of VocaLink, a payment-service provider to banks, MasterCard said. Fam has been working for MasterCard since 1995.
