Feb. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding SAE advanced for an eighth day after the mobile-phone operator headed by billionaire Naguib Sawiris said its subscribers in North Korea exceeded one million.
The shares climbed 3.6 percent to 1.16 Egyptian pounds at 1:36 p.m. in Cairo. The benchmark EGX 30 Index declined 2.2 percent after more than 70 people were killed in Egypt’s worst- ever soccer violence yesterday.
