Feb. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Ecuador, South America’s seventh- biggest economy, posted a fiscal surplus of $120 million in the first nine months of 2011, after government outlays dropped 53 percent from the same period in 2010, the central bank said.
Ecuador recorded a $189 million deficit in the first three quarters of 2010, the central bank said in a report on its website.
