Jan. 27 (Bloomberg) -- WellPoint Inc., the largest U.S. health insurer by enrollment, will raise the amount of money participating doctors receive in an effort to improve the quality of care.

The program also will aim to enhance information sharing and provide support from WellPoint clinical workers, the Indianapolis-based company said in a statement today.
