Jan. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Berkshire Hathaway Inc.’s employee count increased by about 9,500 since the end of 2010 as Chairman Warren Buffett added engine-additives maker Lubrizol Corp.
Berkshire has about 270,000 employees, the Omaha, Nebraska- based company said today in a regulatory filing tied to a bond offering. That compares with the 260,519 figure in Berkshire’s 2010 annual report. Lubrizol had about 6,900 workers at the end of 2010.
